Montgomery County DHCA: Rental Housing Portal Webinar
The Maryland Government Affairs Committee (GAC) will host a webinar with the Montgomery County Department of Housing and Community Affairs to review the new Rental Housing Portal.
The portal will be the one-stop shop for the county's rent control implementation. This portal must be used to track unit-level rents, lease renewal increases, and fees, along with the various rent control petitions, including fair return, capital improvement, and substantial renovation petitions. Eventually, this portal will also be used for rental licensing and registration. The county has posted a user guide on the portal webpage and will be launching training videos on 09/18 and 09/30. There will also be virtual drop-in sessions scheduled at a later date.
