Brian Anleu

Brian is a lifelong resident of Montgomery County and a graduate of the University of Maryland. Brian joins us after nearly ten years in county government. Most recently, he served as chief of staff to the Montgomery County Planning Board where he worked on the Thrive 2050 General Plan, the 2020-2024 Growth & Infrastructure Policy, and a number of exciting new parks projects. Prior to that, he served as deputy chief of staff to Councilmember Tom Hucker for five years. [During his time on council staff, Brian helped expand the county's green construction financing program to new construction, streamline the permitting process for solar on commercial properties, and other innovative land use/zoning changes.] In his spare time, Brian enjoys hiking, biking and spending time with his two children Anthony (12) and Alyssa (6).
