Comprehensive Energy Bill Nears Passage by DC Council
On July 1, the DC Council voted unanimously in favor of Councilmember Mary Cheh’s (D-Ward 3) comprehensive energy bill, Bill 17-492, the “Clean and Affordable Energy Act of 2008.” The bill will likely receive a final reading on either July 15 or Sept. 16.
